Thailand is situated in Southeast Asia.
Thailand's neighbors are: Myanmar to the West,
Laos, Cambodia to the East and Malaysia to the South.
Thailand is 514,000 km2. In comparison, United States is 20 times larger.
Thailand's capital is Bangkok. The distance between San Francisco and Bangkok is 7,900km.

As of 2012, Thailand's population was 67 million.
Thailand is a kingdom and was named Siam before.
The flag: red for the land and people,
white for Buddhism, and blue for monarchy.

It is written left to right.

As of 2010, Bangkok had a population of 8,3 million. Only 5,7 million residents.
Bang is a Thai word meaning "a village situated on a stream" and ko means "island".
They are very famous for their street foods.
The world famous market is named Chatuchak Weekend Market.
The Chatuchak has 5000-6000 stalls.

Ko Jum
Is an island south of Krabi, in the Andaman Sea.
Ko means crab in Thai. There are many blue crabs in this island.
This very small island has white sandy beaches, and great snorkeling.
All of the residents eat mainly seafood and chicken.
