PRESENTATION OUTLINE

BRIANS WINTER

BY:GRAYSON,ANDREW,EVAN,MICHAEL

Birthday present
I picked shoes for Brians birthday present because it says in Brians Winter (page.68 paragraph.4) his tennis shoes were about gone, his socks long since used to shreads. He would have a better chance of surviving with tennis shoes

Pack for a week
I would take a tent because of weather conditions.
I would take clothes so I wouldn't get cold in the winter.
If I went I would take a canoe because it is on the lake and you mite have to go out on the lake together some fish.
I would need a gun because I would have to have something to eat so i would need to kill it.
I would need a fishing pole to go fishing.
I would need shoes so I wouldn't get hypothermia and so I wouldn't get my feet in briers and other things.

End of the story
Brian survived throughout the winter now comes spring and summer. He will have to survive another spring and summer. I think he will survive through the winter and have to survive another spring and summer because he has been preparing for winter. The evidence that I have is he has made his shelter almost air tight,he has made stronger weapons, and he has learned new ways to hunt in the snow. He has also become aware of the different sights that nature can give him. This is why I think he will survive the winter

Quote
Page 28, beginning of paragraph 4:
"Well then, start with what you know"

I think this is a good motto for life. It means to me that if you ever are in a situation where you don't know what you are doing you should start with what you know. For example, in my life, I will be in the woods with my friends and we will want to build something like a fort or a staff but we sometimes don't know where to start. So we start with what we know which is the knife skills we need to carve the right shape or make the right tip for a blade. One more example from the book is when Brian is trying to make arrowheads for his arrows. As he is about to make the arrows he doesn't now where to start. So he thinks back to when he was a kid and finds himself in a sports shop, and he remembers that he saw arrowheads but he couldn't remember what they were made from. But then he looks deeper into his mind and figures out that they were made from flint and then he finds some in his hut. This motto is great for life because of these reasons.

Point of view

I'm doing the point of view of the moose on page 79 paragraph 2. I was hurt. My leg, my shoulder yet I could move and rolled he was still holding the killing lance and got up to a kneeling position. He raised the head of the lance just as the lance hit me again.
