The wind turns the blades,they spin a shaft.which connects to a generator and makes electricity

They are some concern about the noise produced by the blades. Birds and bats have been killed by flying into the blades.

According to Eurobarometer survey, Europeans were more favourable to renewable energy than other energy source

Positive effects:
Wind turbines use fuel that is free. Produces no polluting things of any kind,including those who cause Global Warming.
