Why Business Is Right For Me.

• I love working with people.
• I have a very creative mind.
• In my experience in the work force, I can't see my self doing anything but working in business.

College

• Bachelors degree (4 years)
• Masters (5 years +)
• Two additional years for additional certificates.

HISTORY OF BUSINESS

• First business school opened by Professor N.S.B Gras at Harvard School of business in 1927.
• Before this, many businesses had monopolized their specific industry, leaving no room for others.

JOB OPPORTUNITIES

• Can either be rising drastically or falling
• Due to businesses "going under" due to the current economy, opportunities can unfortunately be unstable.
• On the opposite side of the market however, due to business creation and creative minds, new opportunities can always come up!

SALARY

• I do plan on staying in/around Beckley and West Virginia.
• Average store manager salary in WV = $30,000- $45,000 a year not including benefits.
• If you move higher in management, perhaps to a corporate position, you can expect, on average $30,000 more than a store manager.
• Again, this all does depend on where you choose to live and the "need" for your specific job title.

• Must be able to hear a problem, analyze, and solve it.
