THE SOUTHWEST STATES
THERE ARE FOUR SOUTHWESTERN STATES.
These are the San Francisco peaks near Flagstaff. They are inactive volcanoes.
They are in the plateau region of Arizona.
This is a Hopi village. The homes are made of adobe and look like the apartments of today. Many families of a tribe, lived in buildings like this. Hopi villages are located in the Four Corners region of Arizona and New Mexico.
These are Kachinas. They are dolls that symbolize the Hopi Gods.o
These are ceremonial dancers from many years ago.
