CHILDHOOD
Francesco was born on July 20, 1304 in Arezzo, Itlay
He was raised in Florence
He lived with his parents and his two siblings, Gherardo, and Petracco
He attended the University of Montepellier, from 1316-1320
He then went to the University of Bologna from 1320-1323

Adulthood
He married a woman named Laura
Francesco had two kids, named Giovanni, and Francesca
His daughter married Francescuolo da Brossano
In 1361 his son died
After attending college he became an international scholar

Francesco was a poet, he would often write poems about his wife, Laura
Most of his poems were written in Latin or Italian
He was considered to be "father of humanism"

This quote means that on Earth we are stuck here with all the other people and that he wants to leave and be with peace
