  • 2003 First summer games outside the U.S
  • In June 1962, Eunice Kennedy Shriver started a day camp for children with intellectual disabilities.
  • In 1971, The U.S. Olympic Committee gave the Special Olympics official approval to use the name “Olympics”.

  • All participants attended regular training sessions in the morning and coached Special Olympics Poland athletes in the afternoon.

RULES

  • The racket covering shall be used without any physical, chemical or other treatment.
  • Service shall start with the ball resting freely on the open palm of the server’s stationary free hand.
  • As soon as the ball has been projected, the server’s free arm and hand shall be removed from the space between the ball and the net.
