SURGICAL ROBOTS

Surgical robots are used for precise surgical operations.

The problem that these robots address is being able to save more lives with quality operations.

Surgical robots will hopefully be in every large hospital across America by 2030. There have been many successful operations with these robots before and they hope to continue and increase the number.

One of the first robotic surgical equipment created is called the Da Vinci. It works by a surgeon controlling the machine when seated at a computer console.

ADVANTAGES OF SURGICAL ROBOTS

• Significantly less pain
• Less blood loss
• Fewer complications
• Shorter hospital etqy
• Quicker recovery
• Minimal scaring
• Better patient satisfaction

DISADVANTAGES OF ROBOTS

• Very expensive
• Takes up a lot of space
• Time=very long
