Some important buildings built in this time period were castles that are very common to see for people visiting Europe today

One castle was built in Belgium, Europe, but there are many more castles in Europe today

These castles were made to please their ruler, and to show how powerful and rich theirs kingdoms were. They also was a good military bases for everyone to use.
