A workaround for embedding woes

Can't embed? You're not alone.

  • Some blogs won't allow embedding.
  • Most allow images, however.
  • You can insert a screenshot, or picture, of a slide.
  • Then, you can make the picture a link to your deck.
  • Here's how I did it on WordPress.com:

Write your post,

then click the button to add a picture.

Upload your screenshot

With WordPress.com, I just dragged and dropped it

Make sure the settings

sound like what you had in mind, then insert!

Part one: done.

Now, just select (click on) the image in your post.

Once the picture's selected,

click the button to make a link from your selection.

Enter the info for your deck.

Opening a new window is good if you don't want them leaving your blog.

No one can stop you now!

That's it - you're all set to publish!
