PRESENTATION OUTLINE
EVENTS LEADING TO THE CRIME:
on the morning of January 13, 2010, Jasmiyah and Tasmiyah had woken up late for school. their mom, Nicci, wasn't very happy.
EVENTS DURING THE CRIME:
Nicci had treated the twins with a pot. Tasmiyah had taken it away from her and mother had picked up a knife. it fled to the lifting room. Jas had hit her mom over her head with a vase trying to get her to stop. then, Tas stabbed her mom in the back while Jas choked her with a ribbon. after it as over, they dragged her to the bathroom tub.
EVIDENCE:
purse, ribbon, knife, pot, and cellphone put in a plastic bag by the twins.
GETAWAY/CRIME COVER-UP:
the twins didn't try to avoid the police. they went on to school after they finished picking up some of the remains. they weren't happy with themselves since they didn't call the police right away like that should have.
PREMEDITATION:
this crime was not planned as it only happened from anger of the 3 girls.
PSYCHOLOGICAL PROFILE:
nothing was wrong with the twins but the mother was said to be a little crazy by the girls and also other people that knew the mother.
COLLECTORS PROS/CONS:
collectors only took the evidence taken up by the girls. could've taken more evidence though.
SUSPECT FOUND:
Tasmiyah and Jasmiyah called the police on themselves.
PLEAD GUILTY OR INNOCENT:
since they admitted to the crime, they were guilty.
TECHNOLOGY:
the crime was committed only 3 years ago so not much has changed.
MY OPINION:
the 30 year sentence is okay because they knew what they did and they could've prevented it.
PROSECUTION/DEFENSE:
nothing was false about the crime. they got it switched up since they where twins. but they both did the same crime.
