Question:
What materials should be used to make an insulator box that will keep Mr. Larsen's coke the coldest the longest?

Hypothesis
IF WE SURROUND THE COKE WITH STYROFOAM THEN, THE COKE WILL BE INSULATED ENOUGH TO KEEP IT COLD.

Design
We put the coke into two styrofoam cups. Then we put it in a box full of more styrofoam.

PROCEDURES

  • First build your container
  • Then put the coke in it
  • Lastly keep taking the temperature

DATA

Conclusion
I think our design worked pretty well because of all of the styrofoam on the inside, but I think the best ones were the compacted and sealed ones with styrofoam on every side.

What I learned
I learned that the containers with styrofoam all around worked the best.
