TYPES OF TOBACCO

  • Cigarettes (contain 43 cancer cuasing compounds imclouding nicotine.)
  • Pipes which are just shreds of tobacco in a pipe that you light and smoke.
  • Cigars are shredded tobacco leaves wrapped in a big tobacco leaf.
  • Dip is a tobacco leaf just shredded as small as possible.
  • Chewing tobacco is just a bunch of leaves bunched up to chew.

BETTER WAYS THAN SAYING NO.

  • Walk away from the problem.
  • Start a new conversation.
  • Ignore the question completely.

WHY TEENS USE TOBACCO

  • " I want to look cool".
  • "My friends do it".
  • "My mom & dad do it".
  • "Being curious"
  • "I saw a celebrity do it"

FACTS ABOUT TOBACCO

  • A single puff contains more than 4,000 chemicals
  • At least 43 chemicals cause cancer in smokers.
  • 400,000 people die in the U.S. From a smoking related illness.

  • Significantly lower risk for mouth diseases.
  • And you will not smell stinky!
