WHAT IS THE CHILD ADVOCACY CENTER?

  • Child advocacy refers to a range of individuals, professionals, and advocacy organizations who speak out on the best interest of children. An individual or organization engaging in advocacy typically seeks to protect children's rights which may be abridged or abused in a number of areas.

WHAT DOES THE CHILD ADVOCACY CENTER DO?

  • EVERYDAY, CHILDREN VICTIMIZED BY ABUSE COME TO THE CHILDREN'S ADVOCACY CENTER WHERE THEY FIND CARING PROFESSIONALS AND COMMUNITY PARTNERS WHO HELP THEM THROUGH THE NIGHTMARE OF ABUSE AND NEGLECT. THE CENTER PROVIDES A FRIENDLY ENVIROMENT WHERE CHILDREN CAN SAFELY SHARE THEIR STORIES AND RECIEVE THE SERVICES THEY NEED TO HEAL.

  • The Children’s Advocacy Center of Collin County provides safety, healing and justice for children victimized by abuse or neglect in our community.

FUN FACTS

  • Helped over 50,000 children & families
  • Everyday children victimized by abuse, come to the CACOCC where they find caring professionals and dedicated community partners working together, for the God of children.
  • They host a teddy bear ride every year.
