The history of Educate to Innovate dates back to 2009, when Obama first started the P.A.C when he realized how many jobs required S.T.E.M. as part of the requirements for employment.
The Obama’s are the leading members of this P.A.C. They started this group, and contribute to it regularly. Other honorable mentions would be Glenn Britt or Craig Barrett.
Throughout this P.A.C being around, they have influenced a new group called “Change the Equation” to launch, as well as “exposing young girls and women to STEM fields and broadening participation to inspire a more diverse STEM talent pool” as stated by Obama Whitehouse Archives.
According to Obama’s Whitehouse Archives, educate to innovate is currently working towards building a CEO-led coalition to leverage the unique capacities of the private sector.
