IDAHO AND HAWAII

Fruits and nuts
Nearly half of the peats came for. The Pacific Northwest. Apples were planted in Vancouver.

Aplets, cotlets
Since 1920 the Pacific Northwest has been enjoying a candy made from combining fruits and nuts. Made by 2 American image gas who were having trouble selling their apples

Potatoes
Idaho grows more potatoes than any other state. The volcanic soil is suppose to be especially good for growing giant potatoes that bake into fluffy softness.

Lentils
Lentils are a legume which nutritionists are encouraging Americans to eat. 100% of the lentils grown in the US grow in idahos fertile land.

Soft wheat
Is grown in Oregon and Washington. It is fed to the animals and the cattle so they will have fat that is snowy white as a result of eating it.

Spam
It was used a lot during world war 2 for the soldiers to eat because it was so easily carried around nd transfered.

Coffee and macadamia nuts
Grow on the big island . Hawaii is the only state in the union that grows coffee.

Pineapple
although there is not as much pineapple grown I. Hawaii as earlier but when people think of Hawaii they think of pineapple.

Sugar cane
The min agricultural crop of Hawaii.

Poi
Is made by pounding the cooking underground stem of the taro plant until it becomes paste.

POG
POG stands for pineapple, orange, and guava. It's a fruit drink.
