PALEAGENE
- Paleagene started 66 million years ago.
- It Lasted 43 million years.
- 65-24 years in Mya.
- The Era is Cenozoic.
- The Eon is Phanerozoic.
WEATHER
- The weather of this period is hot and humid.
- It stays warm all year.
- The weather is the same as today's.
- At night weather starts to cool.
MAJOR EVENTS
- First deer, pigs, horses, birds, and primates evolve.
- The continents are still intact.
- Weather starts to cool.
The most amazing things to see are the variety of animals that are now extinct, crystal clear lakes, and all the plants that are mostly extinct.
SURFACE
- The surface is tropical and subtropical.
- The water in certain places is crystal clear.
- Water was typically 900 meters deep.
If you plan on going to the
Paleagene you better bring your sunglasses and sunscreen because your in for a warm treat.
The only dangers that you might face is just territorial animals. So keep your hands inside the vehicle at all times!!!
