What is a pamphlet?
According to Merriam Webster Dictionary, a pamphlet is a small, thin book with no cover or only a paper cover that has information about a particular subject.

In my own words....

  • A pamphlet is a concise, unbounded, writing that is meant to convey information on a certain topic and gets a message across to the readers.
  • Pamphlets can be found in any forms that include a tri-fold, bi-fold,and booklet.
  • Many people mix up pamphlets and brochures and although they may have the same form, pamphlets convey information to teach, while a brochure is for marketing.

How to make a pamphlet

  • First, take a piece of paper and fold it in half.
  • Fold as many papers as you need. (One half equals a page!)
  • Then, take one folded paper and put it in another with the open side facing up.
  • Finally, staple the folded edge so then the pages will be put together.
  • Once you put your booklet together, you are ready for adding information in your booklet!
  • This is just one way to make a pamphlet. You can make a pamphlet in many ways that include a bi-fold, tri-fold, and booklet!

FOrmatting YOUr pamphlet

  • First, pick a topic that interests you.
  • From this topic, pick some important subjects in this topic you would like to read about. (These will be your subheadings.)
  • Remember to keep your writing both concise and eye appealing, so feel free to add pictures!
  • Each sentence should flow freely, be stated clearly, and most important, keep it short and sweet!
