THE PANAMA CANAL

The Panama Canal is located in Panama. But was constructed by Teddy Roosevelt through 1903-1914 with an overall length of 50 miles long.

THE BENEFITS

The canal linked the Pacific
and Atlantic oceans together. It provided a faster and cheaper route for shipping. Also, many U.S. Exports and imports travel through the canal daily.
