  • Location: Middle America, bordering Caribbean Sea and North Pacific
  • between Colombia and Costa Rica
  • Average annual temperature is 80. 6 degrees

TRADITIONAL DISHES

  • Arroz con pollo -
  • chicken cooked with vegetables and spices and served with rice
  • Corvina - local sea bass, fried or baked, usually with lime
  • Chicharrones - fried or roasted pork fat and skin
  • Tortillas - corn flour pancakes topped with eggs, cheese, or beans

TRADITIONS AND CUSTOMS

  • La Mejorana Festival
  • "El Torito” is considered to be a famous dance filled with joy.
  • "Gran Diablo” which is a devil dance
  • It is a custom to address every member in a group
