Pandas are endangered because people are poaching them (killing them) and using their habitat for other things like making furniture.

Pandas mostly eat bamboo but sometimes they eat other things, like fruits, vegetables, and small rodents.

Pandas live in woods like these to the right. They are found in the mountain range of China.

There are 300 pandas in zoos and 1,600 in the wild.

When pandas are newborn they are tiny, pink and have some fur.

Pandas have lived on Earth for 2 to 3 million years.

In the U.S panda fur is 60,000 to 100,000 dollars.
