Slide Notes

Imagine water flowing and birds chirping. You just imagined the Pantanal. It's one of the best freshwater swamps in the world. It has many plants and animals; it also has fresh, clean air, what is there not to like?
People should be adventurous; there are a lot of things you can miss in one step. And you don't want to miss it, trust me.
The Pantanal isn't just dirt and slimy creatures, it's nature's gift, and that's a gift that's only given a couple of times.

This is the Pantanal!

Pantanal

In Brazil, Bolivia, Paraguay (South America)
The Pantanal is in Brazil, Bolivia, Paraguay. You may be wondering why it is not just in one country. This is a huge wetland you're talking about; it's almost 10 times the size of the Everglades! (nature.org)

lOOK AROUND YOU

Its amazing
The Pantanal is a place where you should look around. There are rare animals including nutrias, ocelots, and jaguars. I hope you get a chance to go there, because if you try to look around you'll see more than you expect. For example, the moss is more than clean, it's fresh! The trees are more than bark and leaves, it's beauty!

This is why you should look around at the Pantanal.

information about the Pantanal

  • Around 1,000 bird species
  •              300 mammals
  •              9,000 invertebrates
  • Pantanal helps the land
  • Fresh water swamp
The Pantanal is a freshwater swamp which means that it's as fresh as a clean lake. There are a lot of species of birds, mammals, and invertebrates. Some of them are endangered, so we should probably help. Finally, the Pantanal helps the land a lot. So let's not destroy it! (By throwing trash in this incredible swamp!)

The pantanal is a breath of fresh air

The Pantanal is full of trees and plants that give us fresh air.

Plants breath in carbon dioxide, we breath out carbon dioxide.
plants breath out oxygen,
we breath in oxygen.
