ARCHITECTURE

  • 150 ft wide by 150 ft tall
  • The architect is unknown
  • Compromised of a series of intersecting arches
  • When you approach it from the outside, it appears rectangular in shape
  • Rotunda is completely round

  • Pantheon means "honor all gods"
  • Best-Preserved ancient Roman building
  • Remains the single largest unrienforced concrete dome
  • Pantheon today isnt the original Pantheon
  • Tombs tell the story of a doomed engagement
