Bori Bori which dumplings of cornmeal and cheese and sometimes chicken are added.
Dulce de Guayaba - a sweet jam made from guava, served alone or eaten with bread.

The Paraguayan War lasted form1864 to1870
Over 400,000 people died including women, elders, children and soldiers died.

Jaguar facts
About 100 days of mating , the female will give birth to a litter of 2-4 cubs.
Adult males can reach length of more than 7 feet, and weigh from 150 to 200 pounds.

THE GUANACO
The guanaco (Lama guanicoe) is a member of the Camelidae family
They have double coats like llamas, one outer coat, and one inner coat.
The guanaco is related to the lama and the alpaca also it is hunted for its meat.

When threatened, the Peccary defends itself with its tusk which sharpens by themselves
It is also called a musk hog because of the strong odor is gives off.

COATIMUNDIS
Coatimundis live in loosely grouped bands of 4 to 25 females
Like wild horses it only has one male coatimundis in the group.
. With its bear-like paws they feed on small birds, fruit, leaves, roots and insects.
Coatimundis are hunted by jaguars, boas, pumas, foxes, tayras, ocelots and hawks.
