Who started parkour?
Developed in France, primarily by Raymond Belle, David Belle, and Sébastien Foucan during the late 1980s, Parkour became popular in the late 1990s and 2000s through videos and advertisements that featured the founders above.

What is Parkour?

  • Parkour is a method of physical training that develops one’s ability to overcome obstacles.It involves movement that will help if one is in a reach or escape emergency situation.

What to do while doing Parkour

  • Respect the training environment
  • Efficiency over style
  • Maintain flow
  • Manage the level of risk you're taking

Tips for parkour

  • Always stretch before.
  • Never do it in places in which you're not allowed too.
  • Start little by little
  • Before you start make sure the ground is flat
  • Do not do things you are not prepared for.
