HABITAT

  • Tropical Rainforest
  • Will nest in trees
  • In warm parts of the world
  • Abiotic factors like rain,water, air, soil

NICHE

  • They are loud
  • They can bite other birds if they get in their personal space

POPULATION

  • They live in a small groups of birds.
  • They are rapidly declining,mainly due to the deforestation of their natural habitat.
  • Also they are getting trapped in the wild to be sold to people all around the world.

ENERGY

  • They eat nuts and fruits.
  • They are omnivores.
  • Their predators are monkeys,large birds,and humans.
  • They are primary consumers

BIOLOGICAL

  • The predators,or natural enemies,of parrots are large birds of prey, such as hawks,owls and eagles.
  • They have to fight over territory.
  • They also have to fight over food.
  • They have to stay away from humans.
  • They have a symbiotic relationship with army ants.

ADAPTION

  • They use their left foot for holding their food.
  • They have strong curved bills to crack open nuts and berries.
  • These adaptations help the parrot to eat and survive.
