PRESENTATION OUTLINE
1.
PROTON
The Proton is a subatomic particle
With a Positive charge⚡️
The number of Protons in an atom of an element is the atomic number
The mass of the proton is about 1,840 times the mass of the electron and slightly less than the mass of the neutron.
2.
NEUTRON
The neutron is a subatomic particle.
Neutrons can be produced by a number of techniques.
a subatomic particle of about the same mass as a proton but without an electric charge.
3.
ELECTRON
Electron can be bound to the nucleus of an atom.
An electron can be bound to the nucleus of an atom by the attractive Coulomb force.
4.
NUCLEUS
The central and most important part of an object, movement, or group, forming the basis for its activity and growth.
Nucleus controls most things.
5.
ELECTRON CLOUD
The electron cloud model is different from the older Bohr atomic model by Niels Bohr. Bohr talked about electrons orbiting the nucleus, in a similar way to the plants that go around the sun.
6.
ENERGY LEVELS
If an electron is in the first energy level, it must have exactly -13.6 eV of energy.
Energy levels is a constant value of energy.
7.
QUESTIONS
How much electrons are there?
What is a Proton?
What is a nuetron?
What does the energy levels help with?
What is a electron cloud?
