About him

• He was educated by his father who was also a mathematician.  
• After three years of effort he was one of the two inventors of the 
• mechanical calculator 
• In 1646 , he refuted Aristotle's followers who insitead that  
• nature abhors a vacuum.

• Pascal discovered  the Pascal Triangle.
• The number under two numbers is the sum  
• of the top two numbers.
