  • My friend Sasha is Russian! She has two cats named Luna and Puscha, a Russian name!
  • I’ve always wanted to learn Russian!
  • I love to learn lots of new languages, there’s so many!

There are two large oceans surrounding Russia; The Arctic Ocean and the Pacific Ocean. major landforms in Russia are the Caucasus Mountains, Altai Mountains, Ural Mountains, Mount Elbrus, Kamchatka Peninsula, Siberian Plain, Siberian Plateau, and the Stanovoy Mountains.

THE RUSSIAN CURRENCY

Russia’s currency is the Russian ruble. Comparing the Russian ruble, or the ruble to the American US dollar, it would probably be about 0.9 rubles equal to one US dollar. So, the Russian ruble is worth less than the American dollar.

Russia’s flag is a tricolor flag with equal horizontal lines with the color white on top, blue in the middle, red on the bottom.

Russia’s flag colors which means something different. The white stripe symbolizes nobility and frankness,blue means faithfulness, honesty, chastity, and impeccability. Finally, in the Russian flag, the color red stands for courage, love, and generosity.

The weather in Russia is usually varied. Winters vary from cool along the Black Sea coast to frigid in Siberia. Summers mostly vary from warm in the steppes to cool along the Arctic coast.
