• IN 1765 he achieved the right of Governor of virginia
• He was elected to the House of Burgesses

• He was the first represented of congress
• Henry received much of his schooling from his father
• As a lawyer, Henry developed a reputation as a powerful and persuasive speaker 
• Henry won election as Virginia's first governor

• Pat died June 6, 1799
• At the age of 63
• He died due to stomach cancer
