Patriot

Presented By Annaliese Long

If you’ve ever wondered why people think the Patriots were right in the American Revolution, here is a chance to see through our eyes. (PS: The bird is an American Flag.)

I think the Patriots were right, because they had taxes set upon them. They didn't ask for King George to help them in the French and Indian War. Also, he wouldn't listen to them when they asked for independence.

In further detail...

The Patriots never asked for King George to help them out in the French and Indian War, he just did it anyway. Logically, they were being taxed for something they didn’t have control over.

They stated their request for freedom, and he rejected it before they even stated their reasons. RUDE!

Eventually, he would not let them buy goods from anywhere other than England, so they would be found buying goods from England, repeatedly.

You should be a Patriot as well, because...

A majority of the bad things that happened leading up to the war, happened to them. Also, would you really want to be on a team of people that supported a King who forced the poor to brick up their windows?
