Patsy Sherman is a woman who was born in Minneapolis, MN September 15, 1930.
She was hired as a researched chemist by 3M company in 1952.
She came up with the invention when the people in the lab had a lab mishap.
She invented the scothgard fabric protector when she was 23 yrs. old.
She retired in 1992 when she was in her 20s & she died on February 11, 2008.
