  • Won the seat for Blaxland on 25th October, 1969
  • In 1975, became the youngest Federal Minister
  • March, 1983, became treasurer which was a position he held for 8 1/2 years
  • December, 1991, became Prime Minister
  • Resigned from politics in March, 1996

📰During his time as treasurer, one major issue Paul faced was the expansion of Australian trade and relationships in the Asia-Pacific
