WHY A PROPHET?
Paul Robeson during the Civil Rights Movement began to help protest and fight for rights. But he fought with spiritual force instead of physical violent force.

• He worked as a prophet and wonder worker
• Had a connection with God
• Was blessed by Gods wisdom

LIFE AS A MESSENGER OF GOD.

• Elijah according to the Book of Kings defended the word of Yahweh
• Which were challenged by the 400 prophets of Canaanite God Baal
• Elijah proved Yahweh to be a stronger God by having a showdown
• The false prophets sacrificed an ox and prayed nothing happend
• Elijah prayed to God and fire fell from the heavens burning the offering
