The Japanese we're tired of negotiating with the United States. They wanted to continue their expansion with Asia but the United States put a strict embargo on Japan in hopes of curbing Japan's aggression.
DETAILS ABOUT THE BATTLE OF PEARL HARBOR
- The base was attacked by 353 japanese jets and bombers
- 2403 americans killed, 1178 others injured
- The attack lasted 110 minutes (7:55 a.m. - 9:45 a.m.)
OUTCOME
- After about 2 hours of attack from japan, they left us sith close to nothing
SIGNIFICANCE
- This made us very angry at japan
- Made us work harder to get revenge on them
