PRESENTATION OUTLINE
World War II was started by the Japanese bombing Pearl Harbor in Hawaii on December 7, 1941.
Hundreds of Japan's soldiers were waiting to go to war.
American military did not even know the Japanese were planning an attack. They were caught off guard by Japan.
A lot of American military people, property, and naval ships were destroyed.
The USS Arizona naval ship was sunk in 1941. The ship is still there today for tourist to visit.
The aircrafts that bomb Pearl Harbor were big enough to fit 2 to 3 people but small enough to make it a harder target to hit.
