Penguins live in the Southern Hemisphere. Many penguins live in cold places such as Antarctica, Southern parts of Australia, Africa, New Zealand, and South America.

There are 18 different types of penguins.
Penguins are carnivores (or meat eaters.)So penguins eat small fish, squid, and krill. Penguins can eat many pounds of food a day. The moms fish while the dads take care of the baby penguins. While the moms are gone the babies make new friends!
