• They had a mild climate with warm summers and mild winters.
• This weather was good for farming and agriculture and fertile soil.

FOUNDING

• It was founded December 12 1787.
• The founder was William Penn.
• It was founded because they wanted to grow food.

ECONMY

• Flax and hemp farms were in the middle colonies.
• The middle colonies were big food producing region that included corn,wheat and livestock.
• They had natural resources,good farming,and coal.
