IMPACTS

• Taking notes in school or work is much easier (ink dries almost immediately).
• You can write on many different surfaces (wood for example).
• You can write down reminders.

SOME MORE IMPACTS

• You can vent about problems by writing them down. (Relieves stress a little.)
• You can take them pretty much everywhere, so you can always be prepared.

POSITIVE (PROS)

• You can share information and communicate with others.
• You can express your thoughts and feelings with doodling, writing, etc.
• Comes in various different colors and styles.
• Cheap and easy to find.

NEGATIVE (CONS)

• Can be used to vandalize.
• Can leak ink.
• Eventually will run out of ink.
• Can sometimes smear.

BOTH POSITIVE AND NEGATIVE

• Can't be erased (unless you have whiteout). Which can be good if you are signing something, but bad if you made a spelling mistake, etc.
