In the beginning my book introduces how Percy's life was like in the academy and how he ended up going to camp half-blood. Camp Half-Blood is a camp for demigods half god and half human, kids who have one god parent and a normal parent

In the middle the book Percy spends a little time at camp half-blood before they learn about the missing lightning bolt start to develop new ways of trying to find it and return it to Zeus

In the end the book summarizes how they started their quest with nothing and how they finished their quest by finding out who stole the lightning bolt.
