Perpetual Motion Machines

A Machine that Never Stops

Hypothetical machines which produce their own energy "from nowhere."

The existence of a perpetual motion machine is currently impossible based on our current laws of physics.

In this design the weight of the ball bearings within the machine will always shift the center of gravity of the wheel away from the center, thereby allowing continuous rotation. The design has 4 tracks in total, each with its own ball bearing running within it.

The second design incorporates a levers system into the overbalanced wheel. The design of the central hub of the wheel is such that the levers are held in a controlled position throughout the rotation of the wheel. The wheel can only rotate counter-clockwise.

The 3rd design is an overbalanced wheel with twelve tracks in total with a ball bearing in each. Once again the center of gravity in constantly shifted by the movement of the balls along the curved tracks during the rotation of the wheel.

The 4th design is an intricate series of rotating tracks that have the ball bearing to use momentum to continue the rotation.

Leonardo decided against investigating perpetual motion any further after he wrote – “for every action there is an opposite and equal reaction” (the machines will not work).

New knowledge could come along BUT in order for these machines to be possible, this new knowledge would have to break physics as we know it!
