Lord of the Earthquakes is in Cuzco. March - April
In 1650 a painting of Christ on the Cross
Is said to overcome a powerful and destructive earthquake
Since then locals have paid homage to 'Taitacha Temblores'
A mixture so Spanish and Quechua meaning Lord of the Earthquakes

LORD OF MIRACLES
October 18-28 in Lima and dates back to colonial times.
A slave from Angola drew a image of Black Christ on the walls of a hut
The hut was in Pachacamilla near Lima and all attempts to erase has failed
Which sparked devotion to the painting
The spark grew more when the painting survived an earthquake in 1746
