BECOMING AN APOSTLE:

• Peter was a fisherman
• One day, he caught a large amount of fish
• Jesus came to him and said,"From now on you will be catching men."
• On this day, we was also renamed Peter
• He was originally Simon, but was renamed Peter, or rock.

FOLLOWING JESUS:

• Peter was a loyal appostle
• He was the first appostle to perform miracles
• His symbol are keys because Jesus gave him the keys to Heaven
• Peter preached for Jesus after his death

DEATH:

• Peter died in about the year 64
• Peter was crucified upside down
• He thought he wasn't worthy of dying the way Jesus did
• His feast days are February 22, June 29, and November 18
