PRESENTATION OUTLINE
What is the primary goal of a phone call?
The goal of a phone call is to get a client in the door.
Too often, we try to land a client on a vehicle as if they were on the lot.
Land them on the dealership, instead.
Land clients on the dealership by saying something positive about the vehicle they're inquiring about or by showing interest in their particular trade-in.
Because, how often does a client call on a vehicle and end up buying something completely different?
Open up a client's options rather than narrowing them down asking color preference, equipment level, etc.
We should NEVER be talking about just 1 car.
By opening a customer up, you'll give them a reason to come to the dealership..
..resulting in more people walking through your door every month because of phone calls. A lot more.
Phone Skills Review:
1) Remember the phone call is not the place to land a client on a vehicle.
2) Open up their options.
3) Land them on coming into the dealership.
