PRESENTATION OUTLINE
A mother giraffe showing affection to her young in the wild.
This picture has depth because the giraffes aren’t merely flat, they’re alive and you can see every do.d of the giraffes skin as she’s bending down to caress her young with her head. Each hair and spot is defined. Also there’s a sense of leading lines with the necks of the giraffes connecting across the photo.
World-renowned French photographer Marc Riboud, took this photo of a girl with a flower facing National Guardsmen poised with bayonets during an anti-Vietnam march on the Pentagon.
There is a rule of thirds the flower is on a line. And a rule of odds; there’s one flower and one girl and 7 men (that I can tell). The bayonets are a leading line back into the photo and there is some depth with that leading line. Also with the men standing on one side and the girl leaning in, there’s dome natural cropping as well.
The Camargue region of France is famous for its white horses, which live in the harsh salt marshes on this coast. On a stormy dat, a heard running through the sea, reminiscent of the white horses we often see on the oceans waves. This photo was taken by Kerry Hendry
There’s two leading lines ; the horizon line and the horses. Also there’s depth so it really feels like the horses are running out go the photo.
Assateague’s wild horses are well known, even to many people who have never the island. The “wild” horses on Assateague are actually feral animals, meaning that they are descendants of domestic animals that have returned to a wild state. In this photo a mare munches on grass while her foal sticks close to her side.
