YESTERDAY IN SCIENCE CLASS WE....
We mixed phenol red with calcium chloride.
When we mixed it, it turned hot.
It also changed color.
After this, we put baking soda in the mixture.
This made it cool down and it made it foamy.

CHEMICAL CHANGE CONTINUED...
The mixture was originally red.
But when we mixed the baking soda, it turned yellow
This is an example of chemical change.
Another example of chemical change is:
Mixing baking soda with vinegar

PHYSICAL CHANGE...
In physical change, no new substance is created.
It stays the same object, just changes form.

Water boiling
Ice melting
