Speed: How fast an object is going. S=d/t
My dad likes to go eighty miles per hour on the highway.

Velocity: How fast you go in one direction. V=disp/time
The football player ran ten yards east, in forty five seconds.

Distance: How far the object goes.
1 mile = 1609.3 meters
I went two miles.

Displacement: The difference between where you start, and where you finish. Used in velocity.
Her displacement was ten meters south.

Scalar: A number without a direction, such as age, or pounds.

Vector: A number with direction. That girl drove for four hours south.

Magnitude: The absolute size of a quantity. It can be used for both Scalar and Vector. A common scalar magnitude is speed, such as 50mi/h

Direction: The course along which an object moves. This includes North, South, East, and West.
