RADIO WAVES ARE

• an electromagnetic wave of a frequency between about 10^4 and 10^11 or 10^12 Hz, as used for long-distance communication

HISTORY
.Heinrich Hertz proved the existence of radio waves in the late 1880s. He used a spark gap attached to an induction coil and a separate spark gap on a receiving antenna.

Radio waves has to the longest wavelength. Stretching form the size of a football to the entire universe

DANGERS

• Large doses of radio waves are believed to cause cancer, leukemia and many other disorders
• Some claim very low frequency overhead power cable lines have affected their health,scientist are still studying these possible outcomes.

FACT

• AM-radio(amplitude modulated)radio waves are a frequency range of 550Hz to 1600Hz
• FM-radio(frequency modulated) are within the frequency of 88Mhz to 108Mhz

• When using cell phones talking to others
• When using microwaves
• When using wifi and other internet access
• Etc.
