tHE QUOTES WERE PASSED FROM GROUP TO GROUP.

tHEY CREATED A TRAIL OF INTERPRETATION FOR EACH OTHER TO FOLLOW. This is what followed:

"Art is a lie that makes us realize the truth."

Interpretations:

  • There is no truth...only what people perceive to be truth.
  • It's a lie because you are creating something that isn't real.
  • Art removes the mask of lies.
  • It has hidden messages that can be revealed.
  • It reveals the truth behind your emotions.

Untitled Slide

  • It is easier to fool someone than to convince someone that they have been fooled.
  • Humans can lie to themselves. However, art cannot lie. It does not change.
  • It can bring out who you are.
  • Everyone sees something different.
  • It is an alternate reality.

Untitled Slide

  • Art is a physical representation of how you feel.
  • What you interpret from art says a lot about who you are.
  • It helps you realize feelings or thoughts.

"WHO SEES THE FACE CORRECTLY: THE PHOTOGRAPHER, THE MIRROR, OR THE PAINTER?"

interpretations:

  • Only you see yourself as you want to.
  • Everyone is subjective.
  • The mirror: pictures and paintings aren't exact.
  • People paint who they SEE.
  • No one sees the human face "correctly" because it is the emotion beneath that truly reveals a person's secrets.

Untitled Slide

  • Everyone is blinded by their own subjectivity.
  • The painter because they spend the most time looking at the face.
  • The photographer because they make their photos really precise and capture the moment.
  • The painter paints you the way they see you.

"I am always doing that which I cannot do, in order that I may learn how to do it."

Interpretations:

  • Try new opportunities.
  • With each failure, there is success.
  • Take the risk and learn from experience.
  • Do the impossible.
  • If you try the impossible, you will learn it is possible.
  • If you fall down, don't be afraid to get back up.

Untitled Slide

  • From each failing, you learn.
  • Pushing yourself to succeed is better than accepting failure.
  • He is courageous.

"My mother said to me, 'If you are a soldier, you will become a general. If you are a monk, you will become the Pope.' Instead I was a painter and I became Picasso."

  • Don't give in to sticking to what you are given. Strive to be courageous.
  • Greatness is always achievable when you stick to what you love.
  • Try to achieve the best of your abilities.
  • Aspire to be great.
  • You can start small and end big.
