  • One of the greatest poets of the Victorian Era

MEANING OF THE POEM

  • Poem opens up with an offering
  • Apology for unconventional strange things that normally are not valuable
  • Points out that everything God created exemplifies his power and inspires people to praise him
  • Talks about things that are normally not beautiful

RHYTHM

  • Created sprung rhythm- unlimited amount of unaccented syllabales
  • Helps weave diverse things all into a whole
